Inspiron 1420 and N95 8GB

I realised i haven't posted a single picture taken from my new N95 8Gb camera phone which i bought it 2 weeks ago. I guess this post will be the first for the pictures to be up. Before that let me remind you all that it is a 5 Megapixel camera which is the utmost coolest thing for me at the current moment besides my new handy Inspiron 1420 DELL laptop which arrived couple of months back. Great year for 2008.

Why the hell i chosed flowers, i had no bloordy idea at that point of time..., mayby its because they LOOK GOOD using my phone.haha.

Anyway bought the phone for like Rm2550, own money after working for approx. 1 and a half months salary plus 2007 CNY balance money. People say i'm very generous for buying this extravaganza phone because my phone certainly had evolved from the typical and antique nokia 2100 to N95 8GB all of a sudden. For your information i've been saving money to buy a phone for like 3 years already, so happens that i came across this phone then buy la. So now i ain't rich anymore, nor was i even one at all in the beginning (note that i had to "save money" to buy). Some might say the phone is not worth buying, but my reason of getting it is because i like it, so to me it worth every single sen i forked out especially those coming out from my salary. I felt great working although it was doing nothing most of the time. My aim now is perhaps start searching for another job during my end year break which is around November till February. Working time planned around mid-November till January hopefully as a assistant accountant in any firm seems worthy enough for me. Getting experience is indeed an interesting job, i mean your're being paid to learn. SO why not take the challenge!! Besides, i bought this phone is also because of its super ,awesome ,cool 5 Megapixel camera which i will definitely use it to capture memories of everyday life because i believed that things around us happens only once. I need time also to get myself familiarize with the sophisticated phone (I had to ask my brother how to open bluetooth, see how old fashion am I). Never too late to learn. With that i've earned a nickname among the engineering friends in Monash, "Mr. N95" haha beat that people!!

Monash life been quite hectic lately especially with the continuous bombardment of assignments from all subjects. 18th April 2008, marks a historical moment in my life for i have received my very first saman, which quoted "Kesalahan kod 01, meletak kereta di tempat yang tiada kotak untuk meletak kereta". Hukuman membayar RM80. Learned my lesson never to park opposite Monash U beside the seawage there, rather or i would say forcefully need to pay RM2 to park in the Uni parking lot. I know, it sounded pathetic to hear that i am so bloordy stingy to even forked out a Rm2 when i could forked out Rm2550 for my phone. Sounds silly to me too. But what people say is this is the true attitude of a future accountant. Haha. So next my target for working is to mayby get myself some new gadget or either start saving for my marriage so that in future i would not run into financial difficulties to marry my future wife. Thinking pretty far and also stupidly admitting it when first of all i haven't even get myself a girlfriend yet. Hey i ain't desperate man, i got long way more to go which means long way more for me to harvest my cash. For example (For those who are a couple now should think twice before continue reading this for it may do harm to urself in the near future after reading my remarks) . Every single sen i earned now can be spent by me to get anything i want because i do not have any commitments to uphold. Therefore making me vulnerable to over spending at times. But heck, this is life as a bachelor haha, great. Like what Logan always says, i'm a "80 year old virgin", anyway no way am i going to be that old, most latest i'll get a partner hmm...mayby around the age of 28 or so. I want to travel and work around the world first get as much cash and experience as possible so that my future wife will not need to work mah. See ain't i good to think so far. Haha. But anyway this is just a plan and things might work out differently in the future. Who knows right!!?!! NOT BEING DESPERATE OKKK!!!! Desperate for money yealah of coarse, whose not by the way lol.

Been doing alot of reading about current issues. The one that strikes me the most is regarding the issue that "youngsters are ain't patriotic enough" published in The Star couple of days back. Was wondering, was the recent general election participated only by the older generations?? I thought it was the younger generations who had turned the table around to start voting for their representatives. What about the continuous discussion and blogging activites throughout the internet all about Malaysian politics?? Are they not youngsters talking about it?? I am one of them now talking about it too. Information minister, please think before you comment, facts are sometimes missinterpreted. Isn't in obvious that because the younger generations supported the opposition, that you declared that they are not loyal to the country?? What kind of concepts are you talking about??

Much had been heard by the de facto law minister that the current government had issued an appology for the 1988 judicial crisis that end up with the sacking of the then Lord President, Salleh Abas; George Cheah and Wan Sulaiman from the judicial office with immidiet effect. Recently the government initiated a payment of ex-gratia to them as a mark of appology to those suffered injustice cost by the then Prime Minister, Mahathir. This country gain independence under the leadership of the late Onn Jaafar and later Abdul Rahman. All came down during Mahathir's tenure as Prime Minister. Many of you might not realized that the late Abdul Rahman was extremely sad with the method used by Mahathir to govern the country, eliminating the truth of equal rights and the widening division of racial harmony among all races in Malaysia. Based on the constitution, the Malay rights are only protected by certain criteria in terms of quota reservation for education, opportunity of woking as government servants and businesses. Besides that any other criteria are assumed to be shared equally. Howerver certain people especially those under the UMNO flag leadership, exploited the use of it by saying all things must include the rights of Malays. I can accept if the Malays rights is consitutional provided that the poorer Malays gets what they are supposed to get. But just to wonder, most of the time it is always the elite Malays who enjoyed those benefits, so why am I or perhaps other tax-payers paying and supporting the elite class? Taking for example; a bungalow worth Rm1,000,000 would be sold to Bumiputras with a 10% discount. Goodness sake, how can you expect the poorer Bumiputras to even afford the RM1,000,000 house plus a 10% discount. If they were to be affordable to them, then they won't even be classified as the "poorer Malays" in the first place isn't it. Thinking further, Malaysia achieved independence on the 31st August 1957, and Malaysia was formed in 16th Spethember 1963. Isn't it logical that all children born after the formation of Malaysia SHOULD be at least considered as a Bumiputra already?? Mayby those born after 1963, had grandparents who are from other neighbouring countries, but the fact is it had already been two(2) generation living in the ancient well-known Tanah Melayu and still no recognition of them being Bumiputras. Challenging the constitution is definitely a wrong move, but laws are meant to be broken for the future benefit considering the "Perlembagaan Malaysia" as the highest of all existing written laws in Malaysia during the 21st century. Some even had the audacity to ask for the separation of Penang Island after the 12th General Election. For your information, Penang is considered one of the many driving factors that leads Malaysia to what is today, "global consciousness". Aside from being a technological hub, it had certainly boost our tourism figures especially during the "Visit Malaysia Year 2007". Undoubtly most foreigners, such as the Britains are well familiar with the name Penang Island and Melaka for this place had once before placed under their reign during colonial times. Separation or even the stupid statement made, indicates te lack of knowledge from that particular person who wrote it in the internet.

Reading from the Main stream media is still inadequeate to fuel my needs for stories of political stability and socialized nature of the world. Who do you much prefer, Senator Barak Hussien Obama or Sennator Hillary Rodham Clinton to run for the US presidential nomination race. Obama and Hillary are highly experience lawyer who are now paving a way for the future of America. I've went through their debates and talks through youtube, and i have to admit they both are equally good. Certainly had passed what our politicians could do, especially during session when they will shout out loud in the august house. Why shout? Are they showing supremacy by shouting, telling the people there I have power that you don't have? Nazri especially who shouted ""Bloordy racist" to Lim Kit Siang 28 times in the Parliament. Where is the respect shown of it. The Parliament is a sacred place for the country and not just a place for public shouting and yelling especially coming from typical dogs. I had read through one article that stated Malaysian Parliament is just a puppet for the ruling regime to control our country. Existence of it marks no difference at all. I agree to it, but more can be done to assure the purity of our countries' historical monument. Parliamen is supposed to receive the same equal respect we give to the "Perlembagaan Malaysia". Laws are in discussed and ammended in the Parliament, therefore without the Parliament there won't be even laws in the first place; what more to even be able to uphold the consitution. Hillary fights for the rights of woman, wherelse Obama fights for the right if the Blacks. Both going for a good cause. Based on their statments made, is the political front line of America had deteriorate to that bad?? I never wonder that superpowers too faced such dilemma.

The time for price of rice to increase to skyrocketing high figures have arrive. We haven't even settle the rise of oil prices(now being $USD115 per barrel of crude oil). Never underestimate the power of commoners in the world, especially during price hike. Example could be seen with the news that the Haiti governmnet had been toppled down by angry mobs frustrated with the enormous increase of rice price to two(2) to three(3) folds in such short time intervals. Ongoing food protest in Philipines are also getting the attention of the world, with the current unstopable momentum of price hike for food. Places such as Bangladesh and Egypt had already facing rice shortages. Rice are being distributed in small scale in both countries amid distress from citizens and continuous pressure from all sides to speed things up. Exporting countries such as China, India, and Philipines halted their rice exports to protect their own market from serious inflation and shortages, tightening the situation for other rice import countries. Malaysia's agriculture minister assured us that there is plentifull to spare here and never would shortages occured. I hope it is the truth spoken and not for the sake of calming down Malaysian of an upcoming food shortage. Everything seems to increase. Mr. Alvin, my microeconomics tutor shared with our class a loght moment of thinking. He said our country and so as other developing countries had put too much hope on industrialization and manufacturing till we had overlooked the progress of agriculture of our nation. With food shortages towering the arena of the world, neither manufacturing or indutrialization could be carry on. Logically, no food means no work, and sometimes could prove to be fatal when people starts a food protest. His class is one of the classes which i enjoyed the most because everytime he takes time to share information with us that are link to microeconomics, better then my last tutor, Joan Poon who comes in with the "lanci" face to teach. Rice production countries such as Thailand and Vietnam are taking initiative steps to increase their rice crops to address the shortages felt by the world.

Something strike my mind again, regarding "Ketuanan Melayu" which directly translate to "Malay supremacy". During the times of Abdul Rahman, when Malaysia first joined the United Nations; he strongly suggested that the United Nation secretary-general at that time to strip off South African membership from joining the UN because of practicing "white supremacy". "White supremacy" is a discriminatory act that only benefits the whites and never the blacks. He's thoughts had made others to think deeply regarding the discriminatory act done by South African's government. Now many years down the lane, his predecessors had remake the same mistake again, by acknowledging loudly "Malay supremacy". Don't you smell hypocrisy among the politicians. At first they oppose and now they supports. Where is your stand Mr. Politicians?? If you all don't buck up, there goes the 13th GE belonging to the oppositions (Pakatan Rakyat), and directly erase the existence of Barisan National as a whole.
